P type Pump

Operation & Adjustment: 

Each pump cylinder, by the simultaneous action of the camshaft, the return spring, and the normal game of ball non return valves, sucks the oil in the sump and delivers it to the lubrication point. At the outlet of the pump, the oil rises (by) drop wise, under pressure, with density difference, in the glass of the sight tube filled with water. 

The system allows to fully controlling the visible flow. Adjusting the flow rate (from 0 to full-rate) is effected (maked) by a knurled nut supporting a fingerstall (thimble). The maximum displacement is 0.5 cm3 per pump, for a (one) tour of the camshaft activating the pump.
